| PS: A new realization that I kind of already knew about...there is almost nothing more shocking than taking a big gulp of something and getting something you did NOT expect. For example: A gulp of coffee that you expected to be warm at the very least. Only it's cold. Which is what just happened to me. | | |
| I hate finals. The only good thing about finals is you know that when they're over, you get to go home. I had two yesterday. The other two are, of course, at the end of the week. It would make too much sense for them all to be anywhere near each other. I think I can honestly say that yesterday was the most productive day that I have had at this institution of higher learning. That's a sad commentary on my work ethic, not the school's ability to challenge my mind and inspire my soul. Well...now that I think about it, maybe it is sad for the school. Whatever. I have a horrible work ethic, and that's that. I think the only reason why I felt productive yesterday is because I had a final, then I worked on a study guide, and then had another final, and then worked on an assignment for class. But really...I didn't get tons done. I don't know. I probably did get a lot done. Today, on the other hand, has been a very unproductive day. Word of advice: Don't bring your laptop to work study. I have gotten almost nothing done today. Thank you Facebook and my inability to focus on one thing for more than 15 minutes at a time. You're really helping me acomplish a lot with my life. I think I'm about to start a bad habit of dependancy on coffee. Such is the life of a history major, I guess. Of course, Xanga is an enabler to my procrastination. Thank you. But in all seriousness, it's high time I got my life in check and actually got a little something done today. | | |
| I'm back for my one post every 6 months post! I don't really have anything to say. I simply felt the need to say something. Which, is somewhat of a waste of my time and yours...hmm. Well, sophmore year of college is turning out to be a lot better than freshman. Problem Solving sucks because it's kinda hard. US History is good, I guess, except until about a month ago I was the only one the teacher really called on. Humanities is stupid. Art History is interesting except it's hard to stay awake cause we sit in a dark room and look at slides. Choir is cool. We're doing a lessons and carols that was composed entirely by a student at the college. It's awesome. AAAND we're also going to Italy for Spring Break '08! Don't worry, folks, I won't get lost this time. I'm super excited cause we're going to a few places that we didn't go to during my last trip. We're going to Venice, and I'm going to ride a gondola and sing Dean Martin! I so excite! that's all! | | |
| I'm back for more, guys. I know, I know. Two posts in one weeks! Don't wet yourselves. I got a haircut today. It's shorter, but not too short. I like it. To this day, my favorite part of the haircut experience is the shampoo. It's very relaxing. Today, I ate a PBJ off of a plate that you can't put in the dishwasher. I felt fancy and not so fancy at the same time. | | |
